Annoying Driver updates. [ASUS]
This is to people who are having trouble with updating their drivers for their PC's / Laptop's with components from ASUS. First off, make sure you have the ASUS Live update installed on your machine and running it a few times before you head to the ASUS webpage and try to navigate through the endless maze of random shit on the ASUS support page.
IF anyone else is having trouble trying to update their RAID and SATA driver controllers as well as Intel manufacturered componenets then you are not alone
If anyone has a decent site that does have all the drivers for the following then please list them. BTW: google is not your friend for this as ive just found out in the past hour.
Intel ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage Controller - 2850
JMicon JMB3X Controller
Intel 82801 PCI Bridge - 2448
Mobile Intel PM965/GM965/GL960 Express Root Port - 2A01
Intel ICH8 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2830

Re: Annoying Driver updates. [ASUS]
hmmm i found putting ASUS drivers into google sent me right to the correct page, admitedly the list of drivers is somewhat generic and not for my specific model number.
didnt realise ASUS had a live update thingy though, thanks

NO TOSSERS !!! *POINTS AT RODDERS AND SALLY*
Try typing those components into Google and try to find ACTUAL drivers for them that work. Any takers? Cos ive been doing it for about 3 hours now with no joy, lets see what emailing ASUS does.
