gaming this year has been pants

is it me or has this year been royaly disappointing for games releases.

ok so the future is looking a little brighter with spore, little big planet and fable 2 coming, but we're more than half way through the year and sweet FA has been released which has really been genre defining (apart from aoc's combat system) and we're more than half way through the year.

who knows maybe im just being pinacky because its the summer lul, but whats more e3 was just a total and utter sequal orgy again.

also anyone wanna buy a wii.

I totally agree I can't think of any real pant-wettingly good games which have come out this year. I really like Smash Bros but then ive always loved that series and i realise its not exactly for everyone.

E3 really did look crap as well, I am however quite excited about fallout 3 and Starcraft II's release later this year as ther prequels are definitley up there in my "Best games of all time list"

Although i am still slightly pessimistic about fallout as i just have a feeling that bethesda will completley fuck it up. If they remove ANY black humor from the game or monty python references im going to hunt them down and destroy their offices

if you've played oblivion for long enough you start to realise that bethseda have the right sense of humour for it

This site says so. And This site gives recent patches/mods. I'll let you do the footwork and actually find the games yourself though.
