Do not underestimate the NES

Post by brimble2010 on Fri May 23, 2008 2:47 pm

Who still plays NES games (emulated or not?)

I still find myself shunning GTA4 for Super Mario Bros. 3, gameplay over graphics every time... king

I think that personally the SNES was quite a bit better than the NES, as most of the good NES games have ports to the snes anyways

I was a big fan of the NES, but to be honest most of the really good games have been ported (normally to a handheld). Still I have loads of fun playing Street Gangs/River City Ransome and the original Mario that I bought off WiiShop (even though I could just legally play them over at vNES).

Also, the NES emulator had the best name ever.

I finished DKC 3 100% within about 30 seconds of the top time in the default high scores. Was rather ecstatic.

the wii store has got to be one of the greatest ideas they have had for the wii (possibly excluding the controller)
