WinSCP ... good for getting files from Linux computers ... i use it to get things from the SUCS servers and the Linux Lab.

nice. wireshark is good its for looking at networking singals it lets you see and analyise them. its good for fixing wireless singal problems. to download it just type wireshark into google.

I forgot to mention this here, if anyone likes raping webcomics to store on their PC for offline browsing, download Woofy.
It's self explanatory but just select what you want from the drop down list, have it "Download latest comics", pick your folder and let it do it's stuff. It downloads from the newest comic, moving to the previous one each time.
Sometimes it might hit a problem on a page. Hover over to view the tooltip of where it fucked up, start a new download of the comic and override the start URL to the one it messed up on. If it still doesn't work, download it manually from your browser and point Woofy to the URL of the comic before.
If you have a comic that's not supported you can try making your own definition or ask me to have a go for you. I did eventually get one to work with SMBC.

i actually downloaded that just last night ... i was tyring to remember what it was called, but my lover Google showed me the way ...
