Most Anticipated Games

What is your most anticipated game this year?

Mine is SSBB...

wow such a hard choce witht so many good games on the list however spore is the game i can't wait for this is only becuase its been in the making so long and its something new as in the idea of the game itself aso it has had a lot of publicity which made it more appeling to find out what its like.

SC2 FTW, been waiting somewhere close to a decade for that game

Lich king. 'Nuff said.

MGS4 a close second and spore after that, both look awesome.

Left 4 dead also looks like it could potentially be fun though, got me and one of my american friends hyped.

Mine simply has to be Spore, i don't think a game has been "anticipated" for this long ever!!!!! It just HAS to be good....

Yeah i mean that Dog in fable is gonna be like.... REAL its AMAZING

yeah my dads company did the graphics for fable 1 but lionhead decided everything to do with there new game was going to be done by lionhead now this isn't becuase the other companies involved did a bad job but they outsorced so much of the game to other companies that it took forever to get every thing together and turn it into fable this is why it was delayed by 2 weeks hopefully this one wont get delayed as i can't waot for it. i wanna it now

Fable 2 sounds like it would be awesome, you get a dog following you around and you can treat it like shi- I mean, love it forever and ever!!!

yh but you can't treat a dog like shit its your friend and there cute (sometimnes) i wonder if you can teach it tricks and stuff thatg would be cool.

I'm also looking forward to Gears of War 2... I really enjoyed the first one... haven't looked up much about it though, I'd rather not be disillusioned by reviews, or read good reviews only to find my hopes crushed.

Spore or SC2...that is such a damn hard decisions, but my preorder for spore which has been running for 2 years now tops it, so spore for me.

SC2 really should be awsome, aparently they have spent over a year balancing units so it should be good for competitve online play

well that is unless im playing against a koren where i will get my ass well and truly kicked, its a shame they have completley nerfed the mothership as well

That thing was silly though. Immune to anti air (time shield thing), decimating anti air attack (wormhole), decimating ground attack. it was a very big i win button.

true, but you had to charge the mothership up to use any of those abilities, and after using one or maybe 2 of its abilites (from full charge) you had to wait another 10 mins to use one again

not 100% certian from that but thats what i gathered from a combination of seeing the video and playing SC1

Also TA had end game weapons for each faction and that definitley did not ruin it, infact if anything i think it added to it

Brawl is alright, Pits my favourite character XD It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to fall off with him, and his attacks are decent.

Waiting for the PC port of Mass Effect. (Pit's getting a new game soon)

i think endgame weaps are good, much better than building a shitty pyramid in say AoE and then you just win, at least there is some nice demolition of the opposition

I played a 3 way skirmish in TA at a LAN party round my house last summer, it lasted something stupid like 3 hours however i was able to win by building a ridiculous endgame walking spider thing.
Infact once i had built it i won in about 10 mins, however the trade off was that it literally took 1 and a half hours to build. I had to make a secret area in my base just to be able to finish it in peace.

endgame weaps in CnC games seem to suck, like a nuke or a chronosphere is not engame at all (maybe weather generator in RA2 could also be endgame)

In C&C 3 the superweapons were almost end game weapons, one nuke would pretty much finish of a medium sized base

but you then have the problem of CnC3 being a let down...

very true, but I dont think the superweapons really made that much difference because i played with them off a lot of the time.

Also we were talking about Starcraft 2 which plays very differently to a C&C game (assuming they keep it similar to the first one)
